A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, Vol. 1 A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, Vol. 1 Puppy Scooby-Do and his four young friends have a knack for getting involved in mysteries ranging from bicycle theft to bank robbery in the A Pup Named Scooby-Do series for television–never mind that Scooby-Doo’s gang is barely old enough to enroll in elementary school! As in the Scooby-Doo series, Fred takes an enthusiastic lead with his often far-fetched theories, while Daphne is most concerned about getting messy. Shaggy is laid-back and easily spooked and Velma, though a tyke of few words, exhibits a very busy intellect. Scooby-Do, who bears almost no resemblance to the often-annoying Scrappy-Doo some viewers may be familiar with, performs for Scooby Snacks. These mysteries share a marked similarity with the regular Scooby-Do series, complete with extended chase scenes with slimy ghosts, hidden rooms, and an abundance of creepy monsters. What’s unique to the A Pup Named Scooby-Doo series is that the ghosts and monsters are slightly less scary, the clues are more obvious, and Velma walks young viewers through the process of figuring out the identities of the thieves just prior to their revealing. This compilation includes “A Bicycle Built for Boo,” “The Sludge Monster from the Earth’s Core,” “Wanted Cheddar Alive,” and “The Schnook Who Took My Comic Book” and features both spoken language and subtitle options in English, French, and Spanish. (Ages 3 to 7) –Tami Horiuchi

Customer Review: Straight from the mom of the world’s biggest Scooby Doo Fan
In “A Pup Named Scooby Doo,” we get a sneak peak at what the meddling teens we all know and love from the original Scooby Doo cartoon series were like when they were younger. Each DVD has four episodes in which Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and a pup named Scooby Doo solve mysteries as the Scooby Doo Detective Agency.

Scooby-Doo! And the Monster of Mexico Scooby-Doo! And the Monster of Mexico Sooner or later, the Mystery, Inc. gang had to take on Mexico’s legendary Bigfoot equivalent, El Chupacabra, and that’s precisely what they do in this entertaining, feature-length, Scooby-style investigation into the paranormal. Taking the Mystery Van south of the border, Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo celebrate Day of the Dead festivities, which become less festive when a towering, glowering Chupacabra monster turns up to terrify both tourists and locals. The young snoops smell a conspiracy, and as they chase down clues their search for the truth leads them into sundry Mexican antiquities–ancient tombs and temples–where danger increases exponentially. There are the usual rituals: Our time-warped heroes run like the wind during encounters with alleged ghouls–particularly best-buds Shaggy and Scooby, when they aren’t stuffing themselves with delicious Scooby Snacks. The animation is slicker and smoother–and more pleasing–than some other, recent Scooby-Doo features. –Tom Keogh

One of the best scooby do movies. My kids like this one and the Lochness monster the best.
Customer Review: Scooby-Doo in Mexico
Scooby and the gang take a Mexican vacation to visit friends and find El Chupacabra instead. Of course, the Chupacabra turns out to be the result of special effects by the crooks who want to scare people off their land and purchase the real estate at discount prices. The identity of one of the crooks may surprise you.

Scooby Doo Mystery of the Fun Park Customer Review: scooby-doo uh-oh
This game is ok, sure. But I thought it was waaaaay to easy to solve the game and too boring. I LOVE scooby-doo, even though I’m over 11. This game is not really a mystery, but more arcade style. You have to find trap pieces to set a trap. There are many places in an abandoned “haunted” fun park where you can take each character in the mystery-solving game. what is kinda cool is that you can have 4 players playing in the same game on the same computer. Each player gets to choose a character except scooby. scooby is just a helper. You find clues to help you find the criminal. You need scooby- snacks which you can find throughout the park. It is a rather large setting with many fun and creative details. You have like 5 suspects to choose from. Kinda boring.

Wilton Scooby-Doo Standard Baking Cups Wilton Scooby-Doo Standard Baking Cups Dog gone it, Scooby-Doo loves a treat! Turn cupcakes, candies and more into Scooby-Doo snacks. Baking cups feature a green background with blue stars highlighting Scooby-Doo making his hilarious faces. 2″ diameter. 50 count.
Customer Review: Really Cute. Really Greasy.
The cups by themselves are really cute, but once you cook cupcakes in them the white paper browns and the cups become VERY greasy — almost gross. I probably would buy them again to put candy or some other goody in, just not for cupcakes.

Scooby-Doo: Classic Creep Capers Scooby-Doo: Classic Creep Capers Scooby-Doo, where are you? He’s in your Game Boy Color, of course–along with Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma. Scooby-Doo! Classic Creep Capers is based on three classic episodes of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon show, and there is one all-new mystery to solve. Along the way, you’ll encounter the Black Knight, Snow Ghost, and Witch Doctor from “What a Night for a Knight,” “That’s Snow Ghost,” and “A Tiki Scare Is No Fair,” respectively. Have no fear; there will be Scooby Snacks to help you along the way. The nonviolent gameplay is set in environments that are reminiscent of the popular TV show, from which the game uses the actual voices.
Customer Review: Amazon Product Description is Wrong.
If you have read the Amazon Production Description above, let me tell you that it is completely wrong. You do not encounter the Black Night Ghost or any of the others. It’s “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” case that Scooby and the Gang are working on.

Customer Review: I love it, but boy does it get difficult!
Especially for a huge Scooby Doo fan, like myself, this game is a lot of fun. The graphics are excellent. The environments are huge and varied. There are numerous references to various Scooby Doo episodes, including a large number of “villains”. Scooby Doo can perform characteristic actions and does characteristic things to defeat and evade villains. It really feels like you’re “playing the cartoon” (albeit as 3D computer graphics).

Leap 2 Reading: Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle Chapter Book Leap 2 Reading: Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle Chapter Book Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle is part of LeapFrog s range of interactive books designed to be used with their LeapPad learning system. The pack contains a spiral-bound book and a cartridge. Simply slot both the book and the cartridge into the appropriate areas on the LeapPad and you re ready to start.

This particular title is recommended for children at stage 2 of the LeapPad library, which is children between 6 and 8 years old. The story itself features the popular cartoon character Scooby-Doo and his friends and is 55 pages (8 chapters) long–an ideal length for young readers starting to read by themselves. Viewers of the Scooby-Doo TV series won t be surprised to learn that Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle closely follows the same story format. The gang is driving though a dark and stormy night (what else?) when the Mystery Machine gets a puncture. Going to the nearest house for help (which turns out to be the usual spooky Gothic mansion), the gang is invited to stay for supper by the owner, Clift Montgomery (like the actor Montgomery Clift–get it?). It turns out that Clift has recently agreed to donate the house to the local council as a museum. Their fellow dinner guests include various prominent local citizens who all have their objections to the plan. Clift s sudden dramatic disappearance gives the gang a new mystery to solve, although as always Scooby requires bribery in the form of his favorite Scooby Snacks before he ll join in. Naturally, when the villain is eventually unmasked, his parting riposte is, “I would have gotten away with it if it weren t for those kids and their pesky dog.”

The LeapPad comes with a special touch-sensitive pen–follow the story by using it to touch the words on the page. The story is read aloud by a male American voice, which can sound rather stilted during the dialogue between characters, especially Shaggy and Scooby, who have their own distinctive styles of speaking. Touch the pictures of the main characters on the first page to identify them and learn a little fact about each of them, in the authentic voices from the TV series. (Who would have guessed that Shaggy s real name is Norville “Shaggy” Rogers?) The music used throughout the story creates a suitably spooky ambience. To hear a short synopsis of each chapter, use the pen to touch the chapter heading. By touching the pictures throughout the story, you will hear some very amusing sound effects (the wobble noise and Velma s trademark exclamation of “Jinkies!” are particularly notable). The story contains 120 vocabulary words designed to be slightly more challenging (such as mystery, nowhere and skidded)–these are highlighted throughout the text and repeated in a glossary at the end of the book. Touch any of the glossary words and the recorded voice pronounces it correctly and offers a short definition. Comprehension and memory are tested in the Haunted Castle Challenge game, where you re asked questions about the story and use the pen to touch the picture of the appropriate answer.

Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle is an entertaining if slightly predictable tale designed to build reading confidence. Importantly, it also encourages children to think about the meaning of words in context and tests understanding of plot and characters. –Alison Drury
Customer Review: Pros and Cons
My 6 year old is reading at an early third grade level. I got this for her because I heard it was almost all words and I always encourage practicing. She thinks the book is so-so. She likes the story, but she reads it in bed without the help if the leap pad. It is so boring to point to the words and hear it read to you in a voice without emotion. It might be better for my younger daughter who is just learning to read…to see what each word looks and sounds like, but I think it would bore her after a few minutes. as there aren’t as many games as the typical leap pad book.

Scooby-Doo Mystery Customer Review: jinkies
This is a great game for beginner players because it is not a fast-pace game, but it requires some thinking. It is fun to beat it the first time but after that it just gets a little boring. There are only four cases that you can solve in this games though, so it is a very short game when you get the hang of it. There is a fun bonus games in it, scooby’s snack stack. Overall it is an okay game.

Customer Review: A Good Game But Difficult.
I Like This Game But It Is Too Hard! Im 10 Years Old And I got this Game When I was 6. And I Didnt Complete This Game Untill About 2 weeks Ago. So Listen Up All U parents Out There Dont Buy This Game For Young Children Because Trust Me They Wont Beat It!
Customer Review: Great for the younger crowd
Don’t expect a hard game here. My 5 & 7 year old love and can play this with ease. Most of the people who review this game below are expecting a grown up game… this is not. The graphics are not bad at all, its just a very simple sidescroller, something you would expect from the 16 bit era. Still a solid little game if the youngins like Scooby.
