Join them as they unravel the mystery in the all-new movie, Scooby-Doo Meets The Boo Brothers!
Customer Review: Greed Is the True Horror
While this is a departure from the standard Scooby Doo formula, it is a rather good movie. Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy travel down South where Shaggy has inherited a mansion. They arrive at the mansion to find out that it may be infested with ghosts. (Big surprise?) To make matters worse, there is a butler who wants the inheritance for himself, a crazy man with a loaded gun taking shots at Shaggy, and to top it off, a woman obsessed with Shaggy who is cute and sweet, but not terribly attractive. Shaggy and Scooby want to leave, but they run into car trouble and can’t leave until morning. Since they are stuck there, they decide they may as well look for the secret treasure of the house. It is interesting in that each clue they find offers a clue to find the next clue, which will hopefully lead to the big treasure. (If we wanted to be ’smart’ we could say that it does seem strange that none of the clues ever disappeared since they were diamonds.) Moving on though, certain fears get the better of our favorite trio, and they decide to call in some Ghost Catchers. It is both scary and hilarious when these Ghost Catchers turn out to be ghost themselves. (But the author may very well have known what he was doing. He may have been trying to underline that ghosts are not the true horror; greed is the true horror.) These ghosts bumble much like the 3 stooges would, but they are hilarious and lovable. And the really interesting thing is that after a very long ‘eventually’ they do prove themselves heroic. I don’t want to say too much and ruin the movie for those of you who haven’t seen it. But we have suspense, some horror, and a lot of laughs. Granted, it’s probably not Scooby Doo’s best movie, but it is certainly worthy of a chance. (Especially near Halloween!)

Clues At The Carnival (Scooby-Doo Picture Clue) Clues At The Carnival (Scooby-Doo Picture Clue) There is a mystery at the carnival. Can Scooby and the gang find the magician s missing hat? Using pictures as tools for learning new words, very young children feel pride in reading along . . . and they can help solve the mystery, too!
Customer Review: Great for beginning readers
My son is just learning to read, and the rebus (picture) format lets him read at a more interesting level than “Pat sat on the hat.” He’s a real Scooby-Doo fan, and he loved this book. He insists I have to buy the rest of the series. It’s good practice for him, but it doesn’t feel like schoolwork.

Good for new readers who love Scooby. Kind of dopey plot though (of course tv show always ends “too neatly” for anyone who’s not a kid- part of scooby’s campy appeal).
