Scooby-Doo’s Greatest Mysteries Sometimes it takes a Scooby scramble to satisfy an entire family, and in the peace-to-all holiday spirit, that’s what’s on offer here. Winter WonderDog spans the Scooby generations. We scroll through a splattering of Scrappy, where the hotheaded little hound hooks up with Scoob and Shag for a few fits of mystery-free bad-guy nabbing, but the classic Mystery Machine players also pull up for several episodes. In “That’s Snow Ghost” they meddle at a spooky ski lodge where a mechanical abominable snowman look-alike’s on the loose, and “The Nutcracker Scoob’s” lineup links the entire groovy gang minus Velma for an investigation into the ghost of Christmas present, who’s spooking an orphanage. It’s the snowcapped, red-and-green Scooby-snack wrapped, all-era caper-scraper that’ll see Scooby fans of all stripes circling the tube. The sort of spirits it ushers in may not be standard issue, but the jinkies-generating snooping and sleuthing are. –Tammy La Gorce Customer Review: Scooby Doo Winter Wonder Dog A REAL Review!!! Scooby Doo, Where Are You! - The Complete Third Season Originally released as The Scooby-Doo Show, the 16 episodes included on this Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! The Complete Third Season compilation were produced for the 1978 Scooby’s All-Stars television series. They do not include the characters Scooby-Dum or Scooby-Dee, or any Dynomutt programming. The classic Mystery Inc. gang represented here consists of the original five characters: the preppy, take-charge Fred; somewhat ditsy Daphne; intellectual Velma; and the ever-hungry, nervous, and bumbling Shaggy and Scooby. As the gang travels around the globe to places like China, Scotland, England, and the United States, they invariably stumble into one mystery after another. Ghosts and monsters abound, but the persistence of Fred and Daphne combined with Velma’s intellect and Shaggy’s and Scooby’s uncanny tendency to stumble across vital clues ensures a tidy, down-to-earth solution to even the most other-worldly mysteries. Of course, it’s the wit and slapstick humor that make these episodes true classics. A 25-minute, 2006 “Hanna-Barbera: From H to B” featurette follows the program and explores the careers of Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera with some very brief original footage of both men and a host of interviews with Hanna-Barbera animators, writers, and voice talent that serve to highlight the two men’s individual strengths, tremendous work ethic, and collaborative spirit. (Ages 5 and older) –Tami Horiuchi Customer Review: Not the thrid season of Scooby! I’m not exactly sure what’s happening here, but this is not the third season of Scooby. I know, because I was there, lol. Scooby first premiered in 1969, and his first episode was What A Night For A Knight, and I had to check that I remembered the title correctly. I hate to admit, but I was just a teenager then, and for me, Scooby became one of the cartoons I watched the most and had the most fun with. Years later my own child watched and laughed at A Pup Named Scooby Doo, and I have to admit that over the years I lost track of Scooby until some years ago. I rediscovered Scooby, and for a number of years was happy to come home from work and watch Scooby! The Cartoon Network gave me an hourly dose of Scooby and I was happy. Unfortnately, they have jetisoned Scooby and have gone on to become a somewhat soulless place. I don’t know why Amazon has gotten things mixed up, but these are not the first seasons of Scooby, but later years. For the most part they’re fine, in fact the one with the cat creature is really very funny. Things go down hill with the introduction of the most horrible character ever created, Scrappy Doo. Enjoy all the Scoobys but the ones with Scrappy. Customer Review: The Scooby Doo Show Part II This is the rest of the Scooby Doo Show Episodes. A must for any collector
