The comforter is very nice, is reversible and I had no problems with it when I washed it.

I am very happy with the quality. My guess is it is abt a 200-250 thread count. It has the feel of an average cartoon sheet/comforter set at walmart. It does slightly bleed (if you are looking for it) so I would suggest washing it in cold water and never washing it with anything else. The colors are nice and bold (looks good with brown walls). I would suggest washing the sheet seperately from the comforter just because the comforter is so dark and sheets are light. If you like bedding a bit softer use liquid fabric softener and get a solid colored fuzzy blanket from the store to use between you and the comforter. It also shipped fast - we did the free supersave shipper because it was through Amazon.com and they got it right out to us. Also, to save money use the flat sheet as a bed skirt! It turned out so nice cause it’s edged with baseball stitching The pillow case also has scooby on both sides of it!(We ordered two matching sets because my boys share a room-4yr&2yr old)
